My Lydia is 9 months old today!! Wow, where has the time gone? It is hard to believe how fast she is growing up and she is practically not an infant anymore! Oh how I love this sweet little girl! She has beautiful blue eyes that peer at you with questions. Her face is so expressive and I love how she talks through her facial movements! Cutest little baby ever! Lydia is now crawling everywhere and has been for a few weeks. My favorite is how she follows me around the house. I love when I feel her at my feet and she looks up with a sweet look saying "Mom, pick me up please!" I love that she can move anywhere she wants and she loves to follow her sisters and be where the action is at! Today, Lydia weighed in at a whopping 22 pounds 14 oz. (95%) and was 28 1/4 inches tall (75%)! She is my chub a bubs baby and I love every roll on her body!
Lydia isn't crawling up the stairs yet but she loves to pull herself up to stand on EVERYTHING. I know that she just wants to be up and walking to keep up with her two older sisters, so it will only be a matter of time before she will be walking! I will try to enjoy this sweet stage as I know it will be just a short few months! She is trying to eat table food, but textures are a new thing for her. She loves applesauce or pears or bananas, and carrots, sweet potatoes, and a few other mixed concoctions from the baby food department. She loves puffs and yogurt bites and she even loves to chew on our pizza crusts every friday night on family pizza night! Apple juice is her sippy cup favorite and she takes 7 ounces of milk, three times a day at naptimes and bedtime!
I love the memories that my family are creating with Lydia! The girls love her and do everything they can to make sure she is happy. Hannah is quick to find her a toy when she is fussy, Alissa is a big help whenever asked, and they are both loving to her with LOTS of squeezes (aka hugs) and kisses! Bathtime is hilarious with this girl, she splashes and kicks her legs and crawls all over loving the water!
I love the times when I get to hold her in my arms and feed her a bottle before she sleeps! It is my time with her...just her and I...I get to relish those sweet chubby cheeks and those piercing blue eyes and those adorable expressive eye brows. It is a sweet moment for me to look into those eyes and wonder all the things that she is thinking and how lucky I am that I am her Mommy! I love you sweet Lydia! Thanks for being such a joy to our family!

I just love reading this, Kristina, and getting to know her better. We have Friday pizza night too, sometimes in the pie tins like your mom used to do. :o)
