Heidelberg, Germany

While Mom stayed home sick, the rest of us drove to Heidelberg Germany!  Just another beautiful little town outside Frankfurt, but this one has a castle right above the town square, on a hill!  It was a fun sight to see!  The Christmas Market was spread out over a few blocks and it was another great one to visit!

In front of the Heidelberg Castle!
It was a bit warmer today, so we didn't have to bundle up as much!
Behind us is a ice skating rink right in the middle of the town square and Christmas Market!
 Daddy and his girls
They had a petting zoo where you could feed carrots to donkeys!  I had NO IDEA that donkeys could be this big...they were as big or bigger than horses!  I thought donkeys were smaller, but it was sure fun to get Alissa to feed the donkeys and not get her hand chomped off by their big mouth!
 Wow, what a face!
This picture cracks me up...look at Hannah just eyeing the donkey!
A life size Christmas german pyramid!
View of the Heidelberg town sqaure, Christmas market, and Castle above the city!  So pretty!
This is a sight I often see...Tyson and Dad ordering a bratwurst!!

I guess if you are in Germany--eat with the Germans!
