Well, Christmas in Germany sure is magical and I am so glad we have had the opportunity to be here! They know how to celebrate over here and it has been so fun to really get into the spirit of Christmas and German traditions by way of visiting so many Christmas Markets. They are everywhere...pretty much every little town organizes one and they sell everything from Germany specialties of bratwurst, candy, roasted nuts, to ornaments and German decorations! My Mom was feeling better tonight, so we decided to visit our last Christmas Market in Aschaffenberg Germany. After a long walk to find the Christkindelmarkt, it was well worth the trip and Alissa had lots more fun at this one!
In front of the Christmas Pyramid!
Alissa riding with "Snow White" on a Merry Go Round...she thought it was snow white but it really wasn't!!
Another life sized Nativity! Alissa is obsessed with Baby Jesus so it was so fun for her to see so many nativity scenes and really understand that Christmas is about Jesus' birth and not just Santa!
Alissa and Hannah shared this chocolate covered banana....it was gone in just three minutes between the two of them!
A view of the lively Christmas Market!
