This past month has been such a whirlwind of activities so I don't think I can post all the pictures that I want to post. My computer was broken as well, so I have not blogged in a while. Here is a quick catch up! For a week and a half, Alissa and I visited Boston MA to watch my nieces and nephew while my brother and sister-in-law spent time in California campaigning for Proposition 8. We had a blast even though it was so much colder than Austin. Alissa loved playing and getting to know her cousins better. We got to visit Plymouth Rock and see the Mayflower II as well. I also learned that I am a direct descendant of a Pilgrim who came across to America on the Mayflower! I think that is cool! The leaves in Boston were absolutely beautiful too!
Four days after I got home from Boston, I got on another airplane and flew to the other side of the country to Fremont California to attend the Service for my sweet niece Macie that passed away. Even though it was a horrible circumstance to gather for, we enjoyed spending time and cherishing memories with our family. We went to the beach, and visited Muir Woods National Park. The service for Macie was beautiful and very very moving. Little Macie will be in our hearts forever. We got to spend Alissa's first Halloween with cousins and go trick or treating. Alissa was a baby chick-- yes a baby Tyson Chicken! Very fitting, I know! We missed being with Tyson, but dressed up with him when we got home from California.
