Miss Alissa

There is nothing better to blog about today except for my sweet baby girl Alissa. She is getting so big and maturing faster than I ever thought. She crawls like the speed of lightning, loves to push a walker, and enjoys playing with everything but her toys. What can I say...she is a typical 10 month old! (At least that is what my Mom says!) I am more and more finding things that I haven't quite yet "baby proofed."

Remembering to close the toilet lid is one of them. I often hear splish-splashing and giggling coming from the bathroom and I find my daughter elbow deep in toilet water. I rush to scoop her up in my arms, restrain her flailing and disgustingly germy toilet water covered hands, and wash them like I've never washed before. What do you do...just learn time and time again to put the lid down...now if I could only remind my hubby to do that too!!!

We love her so much and enjoy these pictures of our blond beauty taken by my friend, Erin.

YUCK! I often have to blowdry my hair with my foot up on the toilet so Cameron can't open the lid to play in the water. :) They are so curious and adventuresome! Sounds like a normal 10 month old to me...

I love this beautiful little girl, even if she is covered in toilet water! :) I'm excited to see her in a week!!!

I can't wait to see her. I can't believe she is crawling and playing with a walker- she is just like Kristin! Smart girl!

That toilet story is hillarious! So funny. Alissa is so cute! She still has those beautiful, sparkly eyes! And the halloween costume was great. I can't wait to see you in December!

I can't believe how big she's getting. But, then I remember last Christmas at the family party: Kate was obsessed with the baby girl in your tummy! She is still very much into babies and can't wait for our own little bundle to arrive.

Happy Thanksgiving!
