Cherish your Little Ones....

Hello all,

I am just putting up a post to express my gratitude for my little one, Alissa. We just a tragedy in our family and I feel ever so grateful to have to Gospel of Jesus Christ to turn to and to give me and my family strength. An eternal family is part of His plan and I am more and more grateful for that everyday that I am a mother. This past weekend, my brother and sister-in-law lost their sweet little baby Macie. It has been a difficult time and I ask for all of your prayers in their behalf. They need strength and peace at this time. As I spoke to my brother last night, he said something to me that hit me so hard.

Cherish your little one and hug her a little tighter tonight.

I have done that and shed a few tears of gratitude for all of my family, and knowing that I will be with them forever, no matter what.

Spencer and Cheri, may God be with you, and you are in our prayers. Bless little Macie!

I am so sorry for the loss of your niece. I can't even imagine what your brother and sister-in-law are going through, let alone the rest of your family. We are blessed with the knowledge of eternal families, but we still miss those that leave us too soon. You and they will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I am going to let everyone at L/D know as I am sure they would want to pray for your family as well. Families are so special and it is so hard to cope after a loss. We will definitely pray for them and you!

oh man. I am so sorry!! I hope they are hanging in there. I can't imagine anything more trying in life. Seriously. That baby must've been way to pure and good to come into this world (my churchy opinion).. It's hard to know what to say exactly, but it certainly turns my thoughts and gratitude towards heaven. They'll pull through- the Lord is aware of them.

kristina, I am so sorry to hear about your brother and sister-in-law and little neice. That is so terrible. My heart aches for them and you. I think I'll hug Alaina a little tighter tonight too. I loved President Monson's talk on Sunday morning during Conference. One thing in particular stuck out to me. It was something like this, "The most bitter tears shed over a grave are those of regret." I've thought so much about that lately and tried to focus more on the things that matter most. I don't want to be shedding any tears of regret over my family or friends or anyone. I am so grateful for your friendship and for your example of goodness. And oh, our precious, sweet little girls! I can't even imagine the pain that your family is going through. I'm so sorry. I will pray for them too.
