Going "back home"

Well, many of you know that I grew up in Houston Texas, just a few hours away from where Tyson and I are living in Austin. We went to visit Tyson's uncle in Houston a few days ago, and on our way home to Austin, we drove through my old neighborhood of Klein Texas. It was a nostalgic feeling going back to those roads, memories, and sights that were all so familiar. We even drove to the Houston Temple that is absolutely beautiful. I called my Mom and Dad as I drove through, and my Mom asked how everything looked. It was fun to reminisce! Here is a picture of our old house...the trees are so tall, and a few of the Houston Texas Temple!

Kristina, I miss you so much already! I love all the fun pictures! Alissa is getting so big! I can't believe how fast our babies are growing up! It's so neat to see them learning new things and I just love hearing them say "mama!"

We are thrilled that you made it and are setting up housekeeping in Texas. I've been there once with the Tabernacle Choir but only to Houston and Dallas. It's a beautiful, BIG state. Best wishes for a wonderful law school adventure! Have you read the book One L by Scott Turrow? It's all about the first year at law school and a pretty good read!

How come I didn't know you lived in Texas? And when you say 'grew up' how long is that? Didn't you go to all of High School in SLC??? I feel like a dork! :)

P.S. Thanks for adding us to your blog. We love keeping up with your fam!
