We've Arrived!

Just thought I would let everyone know that we made it to Austin! It has been a whirl-wind getting unpacked and settling in, but we are almost there. Alissa and I arrived a day before Tyson, and we spent our time with Stacey and Ben Childs and their little girl Gabbi! Stacey and Ben are from Houston where I grew up, so it will be so nice to have a family that we already know here in Austin to play with! But anyway, Lori and Tyson arrived, and Dave flew in that night. We unpacked the trailor and spent the weekend unpacking. Now all i have to do a bit of organizing and picture hanging and then our apartment should feel like a home! Alissa has grown up so much in the past week, I swear. She is now sleeping in her new crib and in her own room! That has been an adventure for her, but she is getting used to it and trying to sleep through the night! She has also adventured into trying carrots, bananas, and apple juice this week. She isn't at all thrilled about eating them. She spits them all out of her mouth, but I know that persistence will pay off. Her two front teeth are now all the way through her gum's and we catch her feeling them with her tongue all the time. She loves to babble and can even hear her saying "ma ma" every once in a while! Here are a few random pictures since we have arrived!
