Road trip to Houston! We drove to visit our friends, the Childs Family, The Ellsworth Family, and spent Saturday and Sunday watching Conference at Dale and Marti's home where Grandma and Grandpa Smith were visiting from California! It was a fun filled weekend! We brought all our Conference quiet time activities and enjoyed listening to our wonderful Church leaders! "Conference Store" was definitely the highlight again this year, with the girls earning "money" for listening for Gospel centered words and then being able to save their "money" and buy activities/prizes from the Conference Store. Pretty much everyone was helping Alissa and Hannah listen for those keywords!
Hannah LOVED great Grandpa! She would only be by him the whole time we were there. Hannah and Grandpa teased each other, he tickled her, he let her decorate him with stickers while he napped, and she followed him around the house wherever he went! It was so sweet to watch our little Hannah love him so much! Such a wonderful memory for us to see!
In between sessions on Saturday, Dale and Marti treated us to a BBQ and even heated the pool so we could go swimming! It was so fun and the girls can't wait till Summer for the swimming days!
