What?!! I can't believe my 5 year old is officially starting kindergarten in the fall! My heart honestly ached as we went for registration. I am NOT ready for my Alissa to start school and be away from her every day. I want her with me!
I dropped the younger girls off to play so it could just be Me and Alissa! It was fun to hold her hand and concentrate on her! She said"mom, we are on a mommy daughter date. This is fun!" I loved it and felt like I watched her grow up a little quicker this morning as we interacted with the people greeting her and welcoming her to kindergarten! She proudly wore the sticker that said" today, I took my first step to going to college.". She wore it proudly all day!
I am so proud of my Alissa. You are reading more and more each day and you amaze me with you love for art, coloring, crafts, and learning! You will thrive in school and for the next few months, I am going to treasure having you all the time, in our home!
