Lydia is four months old today and we are in love with her more than ever! Her smiles just melt each of our hearts! She smiles at anything and everyone, such a happy baby girl, and ADORES her big sisters, often giving them smiles just as they stroll by her.
Lydia rolled over last week, lifts her upper body off the ground when she is on her tummy, and enjoys watching the going ons around her in her Bumbo. She hates to be laying down and she has tummy muscles of steel because she is always trying to sit up when she is reclining of some sort. Even in the car, she doesn't let her head rest in the car seat until she falls asleep. It is funny to watch her always wanting to see up!
She is still an amazing sleeper, getting up once to eat in the night and going right back to sleep with just a bit of cuddling from Mommy. I LOVE my time with her at night when I can just focus on my sweet Lydia. She is a doll and we get so excited when she discovers new things. She has started to grab for things now and enjoys rattling the toys hanging from her car seat. It was a blast watching Alissa and Hannah help her learn to roll over, their excitement just as huge as mine, with Lydia's new accomplishment! She is also a talker and likes to "tell stories" as she babbles. Love those baby noises!
