Hard to believe that Lydia is three months old today! She is such a joy to us all and we just LOVE her to pieces! By our bathroom scale, Lydia is approximatley 15 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty sure that this chunk is going to catch up to Hannah, her big sis, by the time she is 9 months old!
Lydia giggled yesterday for the first time, as she watched her two big sisters running around in a circle in our front room dragging a balloon! I guess Lydia was really amused by it all, because when the balloon popped up in the air near her, she started to belly laugh! I thought it was by chance, but then she did it again! Baby giggles are the most beautiful sound in the world! Lydia can't wait to join in on the fun with her sisters!
Lydia is a wonderful baby, eating about every three hours, hardly ever crying, unless hungry, and is overall, just patient with all the goings on around her. She is content to sit in the Bumbo while Mommy gets ready for the day and does her sisters' hair. She likes to be in the bouncer and have her sisters tickle her tummy or play "doctor" on her (she is the perfect patient that just lays there.) She likes to be in her swing and be lulled to sleep during naptime.
She sleeps really well. Averaging her bedtime around 8 pm, somtimes waking at 11 pm to feed and not waking till 6 am, or other times not waking till 4 am to eat then sleeping till 7 or 8 am. So I am sure hopefully soon, she will be dropping that middle of the night feeding. She slept through the entire night yesterday night, but that might have been just by chance!
She loves to be swaddled, and have a binky to go to sleep. She sleeps well in her car seat while on the go with Mommy and sisters running errands. She also is a good napper in the Baby Bjorn when Mommy takes us all for long walks, with the big sisters in the double jogger! Mommy gets quite a workout with three kiddos! Lydia loves to smile ALL the time now and is so alert, looking around, watching things move and tracking them. She coos and tries to talk, sucks on her left fist, loves baths, and loud noises scares and startles her, so she cries.
We sure do love you Lydia, and can't wait to see you grow as you get older :) Love you baby girl!

Love that tubby tummy! Oh my goodness, she is adorable. Wow, I just scrolled through all of your updates, how busy you have been! That ballerina party looks just awesome.
