Tyson and I got to run a half marathon this morning together! We had such a fun time running together. It was a beautiful route, running along the Gruene River bank, with rolling hills (they were killer,) overcast skies, lightning and thunder, a rainbow, and by the end, a little rain. Thanks Mary and Ryan for watching the girls for us so we could do this together! Here is the BEFORE picture....
And the AFTER picture...proud of our time!! Finishing 13 miles in 2 hours and 4 minutes...a 9:27mile pace.

how in the world did either of you find time to train for that with school and kids? I am so impressed and quite jealous. I would love to get a race in...really I would just love to start running on a regular basis...heck-I would take just once a week. But I guess there is a time and a season for everything and right now is not my running season of life :) Congrats on your time. And what is the update on job prospects?
