Lake Powell Trip - Day 1

I love Lake Powell. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I can boat on it...is there anything better than that? We had such a fun trip to Lake Powell this year. It was a mini Wirthlin reunion, as my parents were visiting from Germany and four of us siblings and families joined all together at our favorite childhood vacation spot! We really missed all my other siblings that were either having a baby be born or lived too far away to come join us. Yes, Steve and Melissa welcomed a Baby Boy named Daniel to their family and Spencer and Cheri welcomed a Baby Boy named Tanner to their family!!!! Born within 7 days of eachother!!! We are so excited about two new nephews in the family!

It was so fun to see my parents again - I have missed having them in America- and on the same time zone! I hadn't seen my Dad in almost a year...and he had never met Hannah before, so it was such a sweet memory seeing my Dad meet and hold Hannah for the first time. They really hit it off!!

The first day at Powell, we just relaxed and checked into our hotel and got settled and took the Dam Tour...always awe-inspiring to see how huge that thing is! We let the kids play on the beach late into the evening to gear up for the days of boating ahead!

Tyson was still in Vegas working...he joined us on Saturday, but this is my brother Matt throwing Alissa in the air! She is a fan of when her daddy does this to her, too!
