a little update of our lives recently....

So here is a smathering of recent pictures.  

I have been a slacker at blogging lately, so here are a few pictures and a few short stories.  

 

Alissa is my little copy cat.  I find her doing whatever I do with Hannah, she does with a doll of some sort.  This day, her baby was Elmo.  This is Elmo buckled in the car seat, after I told her to put her shoes on so we could go to church.  She knew that her Elmo needed to be put in the car seat to come with her, so she wrapped him up tightly (face covered), and buckled him in. 

 Hannah is the most smiley baby ever.  It doesn't take much to get her to smile, especially when I go get her in the morning when she wakes up.  This is the cute smile that greets me every day.  I am so lucky, aren't I?I do Alissa's hair while she sits on the sink in her bathroom.  Well, she figured out that the hand soap creates lots of bubbles and one day I forgot to hide the handsoap from her and this was the result!  She cracks me up!

It is now summer time in Texas...along came the heat and humidity, which means that we frequent our pool.  Alissa and Hannah both LOVE going to the pool...as you can see here.  Alissa also is getting better and more brave about swimming on her own with her "princess tube."  Hannah is mezmorized by the water and just stares at her hands while she wiggles them through the water!

 

I just love this sweet little face!  I thought her half smile here is adorable.  

We have started combining bath times now that Hannah is older and Alissa loves having her sister in the tub with her, especially because she gets to help pour water on her to wash the soap off.
