Off they go, into the wild blue yonder, flying high into the sky.......

My parents left Salt Lake City Utah this morning on an airplane to MOVE to Germany! Wow, I can't believe this day has finally come, after all of their hard work with the house and getting all of their affairs in order for at least the next three years~!!!!!We have known for about six months that they would be moving, but it always seemed so far away. Now I have to think about when I can call them...because of the 7 hour time difference...I won't be able to just call them while I am driving in the car either! Wierd! As I said goodbye to my Mom and on the phone last night, it made me realize how grateful I am for technology and that even though they will be in a completely different country, I am still able to talk to them and even see them often!

We are so excited and can't wait to hear how their new home is and how things go as they settle into being expats in Germany! Good Luck Mom and Dad! Fly safe and thank goodness for Skype! Love you and miss you both! These pictures were taken on our trip to Utah this past summer! Alissa loves her Grandpa - especially because he feeds her ice cream...hmm, that's why I loved him so much as a child! Nothing changes!!!!!!
