We are so excited to announce that my Parents are moving to Frankfurt Germany in October!!! My Dad has been appointed to be the Director of Temporal Affairs in the Europe area for the LDS Church. We couldn't be more excited for them and so proud of them. Yes, that means that my Mom will be retiring from Churchill Junior High as a school counselor, a job which she has so excelled and loved for many many years.
It will be an adjustment for our family to not have my parents in Salt Lake, but we are so thrilled for this wonderful opportunity! We are mainly excited because we will hopefully get to go visit them a few times while they live there!
Congrats Mom and Dad! Can't wait for your adventure to begin! Good luck with all the details!

That's wonderful! I know you will miss them, but what a wonderful opportunity for them to serve. You might get a trip to Germany out of it :)
WOW! What an amazing opportunity and a huge sacrifice for your family! Did you and Tyson visit Frankfurt while you were in Europe?
Wow, that is great! How exciting, and for you too...you have a free residence in Europe! Good luck Bro and Sis Wirthlin, you are such a good example to us.
That's really cool. When I saw the title of the post, I thought you were going to say that you and Tyson were moving there, but you already had your Europe adventure! That will be so much fun to visit.
