This past weekend we had many visitors in Austin! Tyson's sister, Jenny and her friend Tyler, came down to spend the weekend with us! We had a blast hanging out with them, getting to know Tyler, and making memories. We went to Sea World on Friday and had the perfect day. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day and it was not crowded. We got to ride all the rides without having to wait any longer than 10 minutes!

Saturday, after watching Conference, Tyson's Uncle Dale and Aunt Marti drove up from Houston with their four kids to see us all in Austin! We had a blast of an afternoon! We canoed on TownLake in downtown Austin, and then went and ate yummy fajitas at Pappacitos!! The best part of the day was trying a habenero pepper for the first and LAST time in my life. Tyson, Jacob (our cousin), and I took bites of the pepper and spent the rest of dinner keeping our mouths full of water/milk to make the burn go away! Wow, it was the hottest thing I have ever experienced! We were all sweating and in a lot of pain! Seriously, NEVER EAT ONE!

Sunday, was a relaxing day watching Conference and going for a drive downtown and through the hills of Austin. We went and saw the State Capital and hiked Mt. Bonnell. It was a fun weekend and we were sad to see them go, but glad that they were able to come and visit! Thanks Jenny and Tyler for a fun weekend! Come and visit again soon!
What a cute couple!!
Tyson walking with Alissa on Mt. Bonnell...cutest thing ever!

Oh my gosh, at Christmas my little brother was cutting the habanero peppers and got some in his eye!! It was about 5 hours before he could even open it, and he had to take a ton of benadryl (which knocked him out). I didn't eat any that night and we all stayed far away.
What a fun weekend!
habaneros. yeah, that's what Peter insists we plant in the garden every year!
Maybe I ought to try one and get this baby out! :o)
loved the habanero video on fb. i will definately remember that when faced with one! i'll bet it was so fun to see your fam.
You guys have the funnest adventures. I am seriously thinking of coming to your place this fall. Justin and I need a get-away.
Looks like fun!! I pointed to you in a picture Kristina and asked Kale who you were and he totally said "stina"...I was shocked that he did so good. He said that Alissa was "tao" which is Kale....we got him all straightened out!
Looks like you had a lot of fun. We wish we could have been there, too.
