I love my calling...

Since moving to Austin, we have been put to work. Tyson and I are now in our second callings in the Church and we are so excited about our most recent callings. I am in the Stake Relief Society Presidency and Tyson is the Deacon's Quorum Advisor. The time between these two callings is quite a lot, but at the same time, we are realizing how much we fun we are having! It is a struggle to juggle Alissa, naptimes, bedtimes, etc, but it works! We know we are being blessed for our service and faith and I feel that recently more than ever.

Just this past week, my presidency and I prepared for an activity and we slaved into the late hours of the night making these delicious Chocolate mint silk tortes! Don't they sound delicious! I felt so very proud of myself at this creation. Tyson said it was the prettiest thing he had ever seen me make, so i was proud! Thanks Kelly for your step by step instructions that made it possible! Here are a few pictures of our most recent and very successful preparation!

I was so excited to get your invite! I have seen that you had a blog and wanted to say hello and now I can! It is so fun to look at what you have been up to the past year. Alissa is so dang cute! I can hardly stand it! I seem to be pretty good at the boy thing but I cant wait to have a girl and have you hook me up with the darling bows! Im glad that you guys are doing well! Talk to you soon!

I was so excited when I got to your blog and saw you'd posted your creation! You did awesome and it was fun to whip up all the food and assemble the little gifts together.

We did breathe a big sigh of relief, after a lot of hours of service and planning together, and now that I haven't seen you and the others since Sunday, I feel lonely for the three of you!

You add so much to our presidency. I am so impressed by your dedication and abilities.

See you on Sunday!
