For Valentine's Day, Tyson got a child carrier for the back of his bike. Tyson and I have always wanted to go on bike rides but haven't cause we have had Alissa. Last night, we worked on both our bikes, got Tyson a new bike tire (because it was bent from a crash he had back in October), got my bike new tubes, and then put the child carrier on the back. 
This morning we took Alissa on a bike ride around our parking lot! She loved it except for the helmut...so we took it off her so she could at least have some fun. We will have to work on getting her to wear it! We had a fun time together and are planning many more bike rides around Austin's awesome parks, we can't wait!

oh boy, we are parents officially, a baby carrier on a bike. isn't it fun to find inventive ways to enjoys the things of old with our kids!
Sounds like fun. Justin and I just bought a bike trailer/stroller/jogger. It will be here in a week, and I can't wait. I would like to get one like yours too.
hooray! we love family bike rides. She'll get used to the helmet, eventually. They look so funny and huge on a tiny head! :o)
