Today I spent most of my day with my Presidency visiting women in the Stake, but when I came home and found my husband reading on the couch with the windows and doors open, I knew he was in heaven here in Austin! The high today was 75 degrees...is it really January? Last January, I was inside with a newborn baby, sheltering her from the frigid Utah temperatures and now... 
Sheesh! We love it down here because we can enjoy the out of doors in January! We packed our Sunday dinner to go, (taco salads), and drove to Lake Austin. We spread out blankets, ate our dinner, and jealously watched as boats drove by us. It was beautiful and we wished that all of you in colder places could have been there to enjoy it with us! Come and visit and you will know why we love it so much!

look at your walking baby! it has been way too long since we saw our smiths... thank goodness for blogs to keep us updated. glad you're enjoying austin so much... i can't say we're as in love with tucson (for multiple obvious reasons haha), but you won't hear us complaining about 80 degrees in january either! did tyson tell you about march madness being in phoenix this year?? we'll have tickets and a bed with your names on them!
That is so crazy!! I can't believe how big she is! She's beautiful. And yes, we are VERY jealous of your warm weather. I understand the way you were last year stuck in the house with Alissa - I'm doing the same thing with Becca. We love you guys and hope that everything is going well.
Ah- I am sooo jealous right now! What I wouldn't give for a warm day to take my babies out for a stroll! If we make it to grad school we are going somewhere warm for sure! Miss you!
Isn't it so refreshing to have WARM weather in the dead of winter! There is a reason people pay a lot to live in nice climates!
Alissa is so dang cute - you guys need to come for a visit again so it's warm and we can PLAY. Or maybe we'll make it to Texas if we don't buy our house...

she is just soooo adorable! Jen is right her and making pizza dough and we MISS HER sooo much! we are also very jealous that it is soo nice there... ahhhh jen and I need a tan, it was cold and rainy today! I LEAVE FOR MINNESOTA TOMORROW! and I am ever so nervous, but confident that Heavenly Father will be with me and so I think it will all be great... at least I can say I tried. love you guys!
I am totally jealous of the weather. We spent last weekend emptying our basement of water. The dessert sounds nice about now. I'm so glad all is well.
