Conference Weekend

I felt my first bought of homesickness this weekend since we moved to Austin. It was weird not having the blessing and opportunity to attend Conference, but also not being with my Mom and sisters/sister-in-laws for Girls Night Out! Instead, Alissa and I had our own girls night out with other Moms and kids and the husbands met up with us afterward to make milkshakes! Thanks to Chris and Christine for letting us hang out with them!

Conference was awesome and we enjoyed watching it via internet. It was amazingly clear and incredible that we could watch it on our computer. Technology is amazing! Hope each of you had
a great weekend too. Enjoy the pictures from our past weekend!

Alissa loves to stick out her LONG tongue and wiggle it side to side. I almost caught it out of her mouth as you can see! We also went swimming in between Conference Sessions on Saturday...Yes, while the rest of you were cold and rainy, we enjoyed a nice, relaxing rest by the pool! (That was not meant to make any of you jealous!) And the last picture....they are twins, aren't they!? Alissa is a mini, girl version of her Daddy and you can totally see it in this picture...I really can't claim any of her when she is being held by Tyson!!! But I think they are both incredibly cute :)

Doesn't seem quite fair since you carried her for 9 months. My kids all looked like Dale when they were babies, maybe it was because the lack of hair.

It looks like y'all had fun, but we sure missed you guys! Ha ha, I love Alissa's chin in the picture on the side! Is that a Smith thing too? I don't want to know... ;)

Looks like fun! Conference weekend would be lonely without family! I am sure since all of the students are in the same boat you guys will have a great group of friends to do things with! We are till not in labor! Someday!

Glad you had a good Conference weekend. Isn't it GREAT, though, that you can watch it online? For the majority of our time in Kentucky we could listen to it online, but it was audio only, so we'd usually try to catch at least one session at the Church. That gets really long with kids, in the dark.

BTW, I loved your grandpa's talk. He had me laughing so hard with that story of his daughter in the car, thinking it was her date, when it was really someone looking for a babysitter! :) So funny!
