Batter Blaster. It's organic. It's fast and easy. Just squirt into a pan and fry up some pancakes in seconds rather than minutes. What could be better?
So I was introduced to this crazy thing by my sister-in-law Janene a few weeks ago on her blog. I never thought I would actually see it on the shelves of the grocery store, but this afternoon as I wondered aimlessly to find some good food, I saw it...and I couldn't help but put it in my grocery cart to try. You know that it is a weird concept when both the checker and the bagger comment "what the "blank" is this?" I won't tell Tyson that it is a can of already mixed Pancake batter because that is against his cardinal rule of pancakes. (His Mom's delicious homemade pancakes have turned him into a homemade pancake eater only!) So tomorrow morning before Tyson leaves to catch the 6:50 am bus, I will make him some yummy pancakes from a can...is this as bad as cheese from a can? I will let you know! :)

Lori does make good pancakes!
haha, this is awesome! you will definitely have to report back and let us know how they taste! :D
I said it on Janene's blog...I know it sounds and looks ridiculous but we tried it when we were camping and it tasted just like the real thing! Maybe because we were camping...? Or maybe because I was pregnant. Regardless, I didn't think it was too bad.
So the results of Tyson's taste test were like Cheri's! These were his exact words! "pretty good actually!" So then I tried them and he said "Not bad, uh?!" Yeah, so they were pretty good and much better than the powder pancake mixes. However, they are a little pricey, so only use it when you are camping or something...that would totally be worth it!
ewwww. i hate stuff from a can.... but I found myself thinking "if kristina likes it, than I could try it too". haha
GOOD NEWS Kristina! I was at Costco on Friday and saw this being sold in packs of 3 cans...for just $9.99! Now you and Tyson can get it whenever you want! :)
So how did the pancakes turn out?
MMMM Batter Blaster. That is crazy. I guess Texas introduces pancakes in a pan and you introduce bows. There is a place for everyone in this world. I will have to try it. Do they even sell it in Ut?
