Camping at Ink's Lake State Park

This weekend we went camping with three other couples in our ward! It was a lot of fun and beautiful weather as well. It couldn't have been more perfect. Alissa was totally enthralled with the dirt and enjoyed feeling it between her fingers. She luckily didn't stick any in her mouth! Our campsite was right on the lake, you can see it in the pictures below. The wives went up in the afternoon and got camp set up, started a fire, and made our tin foil dinners. The husbands came up to join us after work and school and we enjoyed an evening full of good food, yummy dutch oven dessert, smores, and good company! We slept really well and enjoyed a good breakfast before packing up to go home! The little kiddies especially had fun playing together! We love to camp and can't wait to go a few more times this fall! The joy of Texas is the lasting good and warm weather this time of year!
