Brussels in the Evening

As our time winds down here in Brussels, we have tried to spend more time enjoying the city. It is a very historical city, as is any city in Europe. Tyson and I enjoyed seeing the city and also test tasting some Belgium chocolate in the tourist shops. Hopefully we will be able to bring some chocolate home to America so that all of you can enjoy the difference between European chocolate and American chocolate. We found out that the reason why American chocolate tastes so different is because of the amount of wax and preservatives that are put in it. European chocolate doesn't have that, and that is why it is so amazing! We will definately miss the chocolate! Another Belgium sight to see is the Mannekin Pis! It is a pretty tiny statue of a little boy peeing. Don't know why it is so famous and why so many people love it, but it is funny to see anyway. So enjoy the picture!

After living in Belgium and The Nethelands, chocolate here at home never tasted as good. But I've managed somehow. lol I've been able to force a few chocolate chip cookies down over the years with not too much difficulty. I remember this place in Belgium called Leonida's or something like that...heavenly. And those awesome soft, hot thick Belgian waffles you could get fresh off the grill. So amazing.
