The Eiffel Tower was absolutely amazing in person. It is much bigger than it looks from all the pictures, and is especially incredible when you are right in front of it or underneath it. We took so many beautiful pictures of it at night. It was so much fun to just sit in front of it for hours and admire its beauty. It really was only built for an International Exposition in Paris, and most of the city people hated it and wanted it to be torn down. Now it is the biggest icon of Paris and is labeled as one of the most romantic places on Earth. It really was!!
Just as we were about to leave to go back to our Hostel, the Eiffel Tower lit up with sparkling lights for about 5 minutes, and it made the Eiffel Tower even more gorgeous. But all we can say is that pictures really don't do it justice.
